No matter the time and no matter the season, a martini party is always a great excuse to bring friends together. Running low on time but still want to shake it up right? Here are a few tips for hosting a stellar martini party on the fly:

First things first: Send the martini party invitations! Want to really stir things up? Choose a bold and bright invitation such as Martini Pop Art or Olive Shaker.

Be creative: Create a martini menu with everything but the kitchen sink. Party funds running low? To keep costs down, find items to use in your home. Cranberry juice, fruits, olives, other juices and even pumpkin serve as wonderful mixers. Throwing a holiday themed martini party? Research seasonal martinis for that fall or winter feel. Be thoughtful: If you have non-drinkers and pregnant friends coming, be prepared. Consider dessert martinis, like milk in a martini glass with a chocolate cookie as a garnish. For a more tropical feel, get creative by simply placing pineapple juice in a martini glass and using small fruits on a toothpick as garnish.

Feed them too: Serving only alcohol may not be the healthiest thing, so continue with the theme and serve small hors d'oeuvres and mini desserts in chic martini glasses. A tasty mix of mini chocolates and marshmallows would fit in perfectly. For something a little less sweet, fill a glass with a mini arugula salad, tomato salsa or a spoonful of salmon mousse on a small toast point.

Pretty simple! Throw is a few simple party decorations, some fabulous tunes, and all you have to do is practice saying, "Would you like that shaken or stirred?"
